FAQs
What state are you licensed in? Do you work with specific populations or issues?
I am currently only licensed in the state of Connecticut. This means you will have to be physically present in CT in order to be seen.
I work with adults and older teens navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, identity exploration, and perfectionism, among other concerns. I have particular experience supporting women, queer and trans clients, neurodivergent folks (ADHD and Autism specifically), and those recovering from systems of oppression. If you're unsure whether I work with a particular issue or identity, feel free to reach out, I’m always open to transparent dialogue and can often offer referrals if I’m not the right fit.
What is your approach to therapy?
Therapy with me is collaborative and relational. I believe healing happens not in isolation, but through genuine connection, self-understanding, and compassionate accountability. We’ll work together to explore what matters most to you, what’s been getting in the way, and how you’d like to show up in your life more fully.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept some insurance providers. At this time, I accept the following insurance providers:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
United Healthcare
Aetna *
*I plan to transition off of Aetna’s panel as of November 2026
Out-of-network Reimbursement: If working together feels like a good fit but you're hoping to use insurance, I’m happy to provide a superbill (a detailed invoice you can submit for potentialout-of-network reimbursement). Many clients are surprised by how much their plan reimburses.
This shift reflects my deep commitment to protecting your privacy and autonomy in the therapy process. By stepping outside the constraints of insurance, we can collaborate more freely, without treatment dictated by third-party systems.
How much do sessions cost?
My current session rate (for private pay/out-of-network clients) is $200 per 55-minute session. I do hold a small number of reduced-fee spots based on financial need and availability.
Do you offer sessions in-person or online?
All sessions are offered online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. This allows you to access care from the comfort of your own space, with more flexibility and consistency. I will provide all the information you need to get set up prior to our first session.
Do you offer a consultation to see if we’re a good fit?
Yes! I offer a 15-minute consultation for $25 for any prospective therapy client (I do not offer consultation for asssessment clients). I see this as a mutual investment in beginning this work with intention. I value your time and mine, and want to ensure we use this opportunity meaningfully to assess alignment—whether that's around therapeutic goals, relational fit, or your hopes for this process.
If you have general questions that don’t require a video consultation, feel free to email me directly. I do my best to respond within 24 hours, and if I think a consultation would better serve your questions, I’ll let you know.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session. Cancellations made within 24 hours, as well as missed or no-showed sessions, will be billed at the full session rate. This policy helps me honor the time and care I hold for all my clients.
